Bundle Up and Enjoy a Fall Football Road Trip

READY with your Road Trip Planner? SET up your itinerary…you could choose a HUT HUT HUT, but I’d recommend a hotel. HIKE up the stairs and claim your ticketed seat and watch some LIVE FOOTBALL!

I’m a 49ER fan and don’t need a road trip planner to drive the 37 miles to Candlestick Park in San Francisco to watch my men in red & gold. I didn’t go to their Superbowl games either because I always held a huge party at home with TVs in every room (including the bathrooms). And when their 5-time winning streak ended & the 49ers slipped on their Astroturf, I turned to Fantasy Football.

But now I’m thinking maybe it’s time to enter the next level of Football Fandom. I use my trusty road trip planner to plan my summer vacations, weekend getaways, anniversary trips, family gatherings, even my girlfriend getaways…why not a Football Road Trip?

AWAY GAMES: It would be a blast to go on a road trip to cheer my team on against one of

Watch Chicago Bears Online

You gotta be lovin’ life large when you get the opportunity to watch the Chicago Bears online this year. Although coming off a disappointing 7-9 season in 2009, the Bears are looking for player development to improve their 2010 season. Why don’t you watch them from the comfort of your own computer.

The off-season saw some rapid coaching changes. Fired were Offensive Coordinator Ron Turner who was replaced by former St. Louis Rams head coach Mike Martz. The Bears also got rid of position coaches Pep Hamilton (QBs), Rob Boras (TEs) and Harry Hiestand (OL). Mike Tice, former Minnesota Vikings head coach replaces Hiestand., Assistants Charles London and Like Butkus did not receive contract renewals. Maybe these changes will hearken back to the Mike Ditka era when he helped endear the team to many new fans throughout the country.

See if these changes help during 2010 season when you download this great software I found. It is easy to install

NFL Draft Odds and Free NFL Football Picks

If you haven’t drawn up a mock draft board for the 75th NFL Draft which begins Thursday at 7:30 pm ET, don’t worry, there are already thousands of them littering the internet with details on exactly how the picks won’t go.

Betting on how the picks will play out offers a much better return on your investment and here ate www.BetRepublic.com we’re here to help you make a profit before training camp even begins.

Sam Bradford from Oklahoma and Jimmy Clausen out of Notre Dame are the top two quarterbacks available and the St. Louis Rams will pick first. Bradford seems like a lock for the No. 1 pick but anyone that’s been involved with sports betting for more than a season usually learns to avoid the ‘L-Word’ like the plague.

The prop for “Will Bradford go first: Yes (-1200), No (+550)” offers a healthy payback on the underdog option but what else do the Rams need? Defensive tackle would be a good start, and Ndamukong Suh (Nebraska) would help

Sportsbook is Serving Up a Holiday Feast!

THE BRADY BUNCH WELCOMES THE HUNGRY BEARS!

Once again bettors at Superook.com, who doubted Belichick’s Patriots, missed out on an easy score last Sunday in Green Bay. Not only did New England record a shutout, they knocked Brett Farve out of the game. Grossman looked very shaky in the Big Apple and now he gets same defensive schemes, but against better players!

RAVENS HAVE NAILS FOR STEELERS COFFIN!

At 4-6 the Steelers will need to win out to even have a remote shot at the playoffs. The Ravens are 8-2 and Air McNair is alive and well in Maryland. Big Ben pulled a rabbit out of his hat in the dying seconds, but the magic show ends this weekend, against a very talented defense.

49ERS ARE HEADING TO THE PENTHOUSE?

At 5-5 and winners of three in a row the San Francisco 49ers head to the “Show Me State” to face a reeling 4-6 St. Louis Rams team. Frank Gore has been incredible for San Fran

NFL Football Betting Power Rankings Week 13: Total 32 Teams are Having Chances

NFL Football Betting Power Rankings Week 13:

Any doubts that the Saints were the best team in the league certainly went out the window after their Monday night shellacking of the Patriots. MVP candidate Drew Brees played arguably the best game of his career in the Saints’ biggest game of the season. They remain at the peak of the WEEI NFL Power Rankings.

The Bengals jump two spots and leap into the top five after completing a sweep of the AFC North with a win over Cleveland on Sunday. The Bengals now have the luxury of having one of the best 1-2 running back combinations in the league when Cedric Benson returns on Sunday.

The Patriots are looking up at three AFC teams that now have better records than them. The embarrassing loss to the Saints has many questioning if the Patriots can actually compete with the top teams in the NFL.

Arguably the best story of the year is the Titans’ resurgence. Five straight wins

Get Ready to Handicap Football

Ever been in Nevada sports book on a Sunday afternoon during football season? If so you will soon realize that this sport truly dominates in gaming action over all the others. Just about every seems to make some type of wager during the football season. Whether it is at a sports book or just a wager among friends, football gets plenty of attention.

Now is a good time to start preparing your football handicapping strategy for this fall. Football offers many different betting strategies. I myself have 5 different angles I examine when I am handicapping football games. Right now, take a look at some of the off season transactions to start getting use to some of the new moves.

This year was a rather mild year as far as coaching changes went. Only three teams have changes their head coach. In Washington and Buffalo we knew last November that a head coaching situation was likely. In comes Mike Shanahan to the Redskins along with a new GM. Many player changes

NFL Power Rankings – Week 17

BetRepublic.com NFL Power Rankings (Week 17)

Going out with a bang seems like a New York Giants kind of thing to do but while playing their final home game in Giants Stadium, someone must have misread the script. New York’s 32-point loss to Carolina on Sunday was the second biggest blowout in a team’s final home game at its stadium since 1970! Only the 1995 St. Louis Rams, who lost to San Francisco by 34 points before closing the doors to Busch Stadium for the last time, have lost by a bigger margin. Adding insult to injury, the Giants were also eliminated from the playoff hunt this weekend and to make matters even worse, the men in blue took a two-point drop in the weekly BetRepublic.com Power Rankings chart.

Here is the latest edition; note the shakeup in the Top 5!

BetRepublic.com Week 17 NFL Power Rankings

1. Indianapolis Colts – Manning takes a seat, Curtis ‘paints’ an ugly picture as backup and the Colts fall to 14-1 SU.

2010 San Francisco 49ers: NFL Schedule, Predictions and Odds

The San Francisco 49ers will begin the 2010 NFL schedule as a football betting favorite at online sportsbooks to win the NFC West but also with the tough assignment of playing 3 road games in their first 4 weeks beginning with a September 12th NFC West showdown with Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks. The home opener is even tougher as the world champion New Orleans Saints visits for Monday Night football on September 20th. The 49ers then travel to Kansas City for a September 26th game vs the Chiefs followed by an October 3rd visit to Atlanta to favor the contending Falcons. NFL betting odds have the 49ers 25-1 betting longshots in 2011 Super Bowl odds and 12-1 to win the NFC conference.

San Francisco will then get plenty of home cooking with 5 out of their next 6 games on the NFL schedule at home starting on October 10th against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Oakland Raiders visit from across the bay for a heated interconference match-up in
